What type of party can I host at Mariposa?

We love to celebrate all types of events with you and your guests. Typical celebrations include birthday parties, showers, weddings, corporate after-hour socials, art openings, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties, and more! Mariposa is a great space for cocktail receptions with butler passed hors d'oeuvres, stationary buffets, table-served shareable or plated courses.

 

How do I choose my menu?

For full & partial buyouts, we will setup a personal meeting with our Chef & Beverage Director to plan your menu and logistics. If you are hosting a large party for 8 - 21 guests or a bar takeover for 25, your guests can order a la carte or we can plan those details in advance, the choice is yours!

 

How do I reserve your space?

For full and partial buyouts, we will create a simple contract that will address all of the details of your event. Once that is signed and a 50% non-refundable deposit is paid, your event will be on the books!

 

Can I bring my own specialty cake?

As we do not provide wedding or birthday cakes, you can bring in your own cake and we will be happy to serve it to your guests for an additional fee. That said, we do serve some incredible, unique desserts, so don’t miss out on those!

 

Can the furniture be rearranged?

Furniture can be slightly rearranged to accommodate a buffet and some customization, but the couches must remain in the restaurant. Our outdoor furniture cannot be moved.

 

What about parking?

Parking in the Mint Museum Uptown parking garage is $5.00 after 5:00 pm. We can arrange pre-paid parking vouchers or valet parking for your guests at an additional charge.
